EPL Matchday 24 Round Up

Match day 24 of the English Premier League produced fantastic display of football artistry and exciting results. Lets take a look at a how things went and those that profited (and lost ground) from available result.

The Winners

Sunderland: Thrashed fellow relegation battling team 4 nil and woke up from their sinking points haul. They may still be last on the log but if results go their way they could rise as high as 15th with just a win.

Hull City: They beat title contenders- Liverpool and for the first time this season did not concede at home. They may still be in the relegation spot but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Manchester United: Been 6th all through the season but they are closer to the top 4 than ever before. A win could push them above Arsenal in 4th.

The Losers

Crystal Palace: Who would save Big Sam from relegation? He might just fall with this team as they lost by 4 goals at home and the fans are now turning on their players.

Liverpool: With just a win in 10 games, the Merseysiders are really burning out. Their next 5 games might see them fall down on the log but you never can say.

Notable Mention

West Ham: Won away at Southampton and they look more likely to avoid relegation. Slaven Bilic would need to galvanise his team next season if he is still in charge.

Leicester City: Lost at home and now in the relegation dog fight. Hope they pick themselves up and avoid going down.

Manchester City: Jesus the saviour yet again but lets see how Pep keeps the new found form.

Chelsea: Crown them Champions of the Epl

Top Performers

Romelu Lukaku: scored 4 times in a match for the first time in his professional career.

Jermain Defoe: scored a brace and is the reason Sunderland still have a chance of staying up.

Eden Hazard: Oh! That goal looks too good.

Gabriel Jesus: a brace for him and a new found love. Jesus could save City.
